So one week into 2007, jokosher steams forwards with 29 commits so far this year, including:-

* The "mixdown project" menu item is now inactive if there is no audio to mixdown.
* The okay and cancel buttons on the instrument effects dialog have been merged into one close button.
* Startup has been speeded up by not creating gstreamer elements at the start.
* New extnsion added that allows you to set the tempo for the project by tapping the beat during playback
* Numerous minor tidying ups, bug fixes and cosmetic changes to keep polishing things up.
* Structural changes to the undo system to allow multiple actions to be undone at once.

This last was the first commit of 2007 having been added by Laszlo in the evening 1/1/07. Jokosher developers may work christmas day, but definately not New Years Eve!

In other news, Jokosher 0.2 is now in the repositories for Ubuntu Feisty and Arch Linux, and a new wiki for users (thats you guys!) to help contibute tips, tricks, and tutorials (*ahem* and bug workarounds *ahem*) , to help develop the documentation and user manual for the next release. To get involved check out http://userdocs.jokosher.org

Not a bad start to the year I think.

If I've missed anything, or you have any other comments to make, post away!

Thanks for the awesome update nibil. I just noticed that unlike most other projects, we don't have a changelog anywhere, so this is much appreciated. Smile

Indeed, this is really nice even when you're a dev since it's hard to keep track of all changes Very Happy
