|
|
I'm attempting to use Jokosher in UbuStu 10.04 to multi-track 8 live instruments and I see in the home page image that JACK is an option for the recording and playback sound systems.
That's great, however I download Jokosher 0.11.5 from synaptic and I do NOT have JACK as an option in the pulldown menus. Do I need to do something first? I've started Jokosher with and without JACK running, rebooted after installation... Nothing. I need to connect an Edirol FA-101 FireWire box. Ardour works, but it's just too much power for me; I'd like to use Jokosher for it's ease of use and simple interface.
Any suggestions? Thanks. _________________ --

Hi,
To get jack support you need to install the gstreamer0.10-plugins-bad package. Our jack support isn't great at the moment though, currently it will only auto-connect devices for you, it doesn't give you the opportunity to manually connect things up.
Cheers,
Mike. |
